A survey by Allianz Insurance from PR Newswire found that the average woman's purse and its contents are worth about $720. And one in FOUR women have lost theirs, or had it stolen.
Having a sorted, organized bag post-cleaning is a major bonus in itself, but a woman in Georgia has given incentive to cluttered bag owners everywhere after she found a lottery ticket worth $190k stashed at the bottom of hers.
Rhonda Williams, a 55-year-old Fairburn resident, told reporters last week that she found the Fantasy 5 ticket at the very bottom of her purse after she decided to clean it out on a whim. Turns out, she'd picked the winning numbers from a January 17 drawing.
Terrible news here for all of my fellow MAN PURSE aficionados. We may look totally cool and sophisticated and manly carrying our man purses . . . but we could be causing ourselves health problems. ALMOST makes you question if it's worth it.
According to the British Chiropractic Association, carrying a man purse can cause long-term back problems.
They say that the average amount of weight in a man's purse is 13 POUNDS, between a smartphone, laptop or tablet, and other miscellaneous crap.
