As a mother I have definitely been sucked into buying things that don't work...like, the non-spill sippy cup. However, I am proud to say that I have never purchased any of the ridiculous baby items listed below.  If you have purchased some of these items I would love a review on them.

Ok ladies, we have all been invited to the latest jewelry, bag, or cleaning product party. I don't know about you but I always get sucked into buying products at these parties that I don't necessarily need.

Product placement has been a part of TV and movies since their beginnings, and finally someone's put together a video montage of laughably obvious placement moments  — for historical purposes, of course. Fred and Wilma Flintstone split a pack of Winstons while Bugs Bunny unironically urges the children of America to drink the Kool-Aid. They're not all really product placements — some are just ads
