Trick-or-treating can be a lot of fun. Kids come to your door dressed in their cute costumes, you get to give them candy and everyone leaves happy! Right? There are things that can go wrong during the trick-or-treating process. I've seen wardrobe malfunctions, cars driving too fast, kids destroying pumpkins, etc. But have you ever seen a child that desperately needs to use the bathroom? Worse yet.
Do you believe in evil? Is it some dark, supernatural source that controls us and compels us to do terrible things? Or is it merely a label that mankind has created?
A few years ago Halloween fell on a Sunday. That year everyone moved Halloween from Sunday to Saturday. Since that year I think people may be confused on when to actually celebrate Halloween. This year a lot of Halloween parties and dances occurred over the weekend and some families took their children trick-or-treating on Saturday.

All great things must come to an end! I have enjoyed spending the day with my kiddos over the summer and am sad to say goodbye to play dates, swim days, movie afternoons, lego building etc. While I will miss my kids, I am already planning what I will do with my free time while they are in school...
Our school systems have been through a tremendous amount of change. A lot of Magic Valley schools have early release days to help with budget cuts and some schools are going to a four day a week schedule.
I love shark week, but some of it can be gory and a little too graphic. On the other side of things...shark week isn't all about people getting their limbs bitten off. Shark week can be educational. My son and I have learned a lot about what types of sharks are endangered species, how long sharks live, how big sharks get, etc...
My family and I are moving and while there is always excitement with a move there is also a lot of stress and a ton of stuff to do.
