Every year my husband and I seem to have a disagreement when the weather turns. I always insist on turning on the heater way before my husband wants to and I think the air conditioner should never be turned on.

We all remember the beloved school field trips that broke up the endless routine of school days. Some kids loved field trips others hated them. And there was always the parents chaperones. I think fundraisers can be very important and I love to participate, if at all possible, but fundraisers can get out of hand really quick. Before you know it you could have a closet full of candles, cups, popcorn, cookies, cookie dough etc. You almost have to be picky about which fundraisers to give money to and which fundraisers to pass on.

I can't BELIEVE this still goes on in 2012.  I thought schools stopped PHYSICALLY PUNISHING STUDENTS four decades ago.  But 19 states actually still allow corporal punishment in schools, and Texas is one of them.
