Scientists in Japan have developed a machine which mimics the sensation you get from an open-mouth French kiss. According to researcher Nobuhiro Takahash, one of the goals of the project is to allow two people to make out without even necessarily being in the same room.

A team at the University of Electro-Communications in Tokyo has invented a device that actually lets you kiss someone over the Internet. Sort of. The device kind of looks like a straw on top of a box. It's plugged into your computer, and someone else plugs one into their computer.
