Idaho Power is reporting that about 1,338 Idaho Power customers in the Kimberly Hansen area do not have power after a vehicle struck a pole along Highway 30 near 4100 East around 4pm today.

Best In Class: Two Magic Valley High Schools Awarded Grants

Eight Idaho schools have won $100,000 grants from the J.A. and Kathryn Albertson Foundation in an effort to increase the number of kids who attend college or other post-secondary training.

The schools were chosen out of 55 after competing in several categories, including increasing the number of students taking college preparatory exams and upper-level math and science coursework
