Yesterday was a busy day...not only for parents but for kids too. Most kiddos had Halloween parties at their school and then attended Trick or Treat on Bish's Street. By the time my kids got in the car to go traditional trick-or-treating they were exhausted, but quickly recovered when they saw Grandma and Grandpa's house.

It happens every year. You take your kiddos to the pumpkin patch...they take an hour or two picking out the perfect pumpkin. You take the pumpkin home, place it on your front porch and then...someone steals it. We can all agree that stealing pumpkins is terrible, but its part of Halloween. There isn't much we can do about pumpkins getting stolen, or is there?

Trick-or-treating can be a lot of fun. Kids come to your door dressed in their cute costumes, you get to give them candy and everyone leaves happy! Right? There are things that can go wrong during the trick-or-treating process. I've seen wardrobe malfunctions, cars driving too fast, kids destroying pumpkins, etc. But have you ever seen a child that desperately needs to use the bathroom? Worse yet.

In late July a park ranger sent this picture to his boss asking him to confirm what type of animal is in the picture. The picture was taken in Heyburn State Park in Idaho. It appears that the animal resting on the log is a tiger. How would a tiger end up in Idaho? They decided the best course of action was to head into the park armed and look for the tiger.
