November 16, 2012 My four year old son Jack loves the story of the Three Little Pigs. So much that he and his grandma made an interactive papercraft version of the pigs and wolf that he can play with (the wolf is built onto a straw so Jack can huff and puff). We've been looking for a good version to read on my iPad, and today we found one for free!
November 15, 2012 Okay, so Apple's new Maps wasn't quite the amazing experience everyone hoped it would be. Personally, I like Maps, but I don't use it enough to notice the bugs. It gets me from point A to point B... usually.Although Siri isn't much help.

November 9, 2012 The Apple App Store is still by far the most bountiful of all the online app stores. There are literally hundreds of thousands of apps in the App Store, and it's growing every day. There are over 275,000 apps made for the iPad alone. Sometimes it can be daunting opening up the App Store and trying to find an app to do what you want.

August 23, 2012 I vehemently disliked the old Facebook app for iPhone and iPad. It was slow, moody, and there was no such thing as "instant notification." Using the Facebook app on my iPhone was always an exercise in frustration.
Apparently Facebook has heard our screams of anguish. Today they released version 5.0 for iOS, and it is remarkably faster.
August 22, 2012 I generally have no problem paying $0.99 for an app on my iPhone. When I hit $5.99... or $6.99... or even $9.99... then I start to have reservations. But today I stumbled onto an app that has 150 apps built into it! 150!
August 13, 2012 My first video game system arrived on Christmas Day, 1982: the Atari 2600. It was boxy, angular, had strange switches on it, and swaths of faux wood paneling. And it was brilliant.
I wasted so much of my youth playing bare-bones, pixelated games like 'Asteroids,' 'The Empire Strikes Back,' 'Combat,' and 'Raiders of the Lost Ark.' But my one of my favorite games was 'Pitfall!'
Now it's back!

Furthermore, 32 percent have never used an app, assuring that their smart phone Internet experience -- for which they are presumably paying a monthly charge for -- is extremely limited.
