Wondering what happens to your tax money?

So let's all ignore for a second the taxpayer money he spent paying his staff to put it together and focus on what's inside.  According to Townhall / Tom Coburn here are 10 of the worst things the government has blown money on in the past year.

1.)  Moroccan pottery classes.  The U.S. has spent $27 MILLION on a project to train people in Morocco to design and sell pottery at home and abroad.  The classes suffered from language barriers with American teachers and flopped.

Since 2007, astronomers at the SETI Institute in Northern California have been scanning the great beyond for signs of alien life.

However, due to a decrease in the funding the institute receives from NASA and other government sources, the institute will have to shut down the powerful bank of 42 radio dishes that it uses to target unexplored planets.
