I don't consider myself superstitious. Black cats don't bother me, I'm pretty sure I've walked under a few ladders and I drop salt without throwing it over my shoulder.

But when I REALLY started to think about it, I found a hidden superstition. When my wife and I are watching our kids play sports, we sometimes put the video camera away for fear that taping it will "jinx" them.

We've received numerous reports of black cats skulking around KEZJ.com today, and we're convinced it has something to do with it being Friday the 13th. So far they seem benign, but that's how these things always start.

If you spot one of these cats, we recommend noting the word with it, and then clicking on it. It could be worth 13,000 EZ Bucks if you do. We're pretty sure we saw one lurking around Taylor Swift this morning...
