Heading into its record-setting 26th season, 'The Simpsons' show no signs of stopping as 2014 brings with it a bevy of new milestones. We've not heard very much from FOX's 'Gotham' since the initial trailer (and a few icy teases here and there), but rather than wait until Comic-Con 2014 for a fresh look at the new Batman prequel drama, 'Gotham' is getting up close and personal. We're already a bit uncertain what to make of FOX's 'Gotham,' retelling the story of the caped crusader and his greatest villains from a young Jim Gordon's perspective, particularly as the pilot alone incorporates many of Batman's famous foes. Now, atop the Penguin, Riddler, Catwoman, Poison Ivy and more, we've learned that Mr. Freeze himself might be up for the 'Gotham' treatment sooner rather than later.

'The Simpsons' has been on for so long that no corner of this fictional city hasn't been explored, and no casual reference hasn't been transformed into a full-fledged character or storyline. Well, at least we thought so! It looks like the 26th season of the long-running program managed to find one sliver of Springfield that's been left unexplored and Fox enlisted Will Forte to help explore it.

It's always a sad day when we have to say goodbye to some of our favorite 'SNL' cast members, much as the past year saw the likes of Fred Armisen, Jason Sudeikis and Bill Hader all departing the long-running sketch comedy series.
