Here's the story:  Jackie shares her work space with another employee.  Jackie uses the desk in the morning and another person... let's call her "Mary*" uses the desk throughout the afternoon.

Apparently, Mary left a bag of open cookies on the desk.  Jackie saw the open bag,  made herself right at home, strapped on the sack like a feed bag and started noshing on Mary's ginger snaps.

We all wash our food thinking that it is clean and free of nasty stuff. Well, it looks like we are wrong. The FDA just released new guidelines for how much NASTY stuff can be in the food you buy, and it covers mold, rat poop, insect parts, and maggots. Ewwwww!

Yesterday morning my family and I were at a hotel that offered a continental breakfast. We enjoyed the continental breakfast, went back to our rooms, and then proceeded to check out.

On our way out I noticed the continental breakfast was still available so I decided to take some food to go. I had a large Ziploc bag that I filled with 3 mini muffins, a bagel, and a box of cereal. I also took a cup of coffee, orange juice, and a cup of milk with me.

In a survey by the YMCA, 89% of parents with kids aged five to ten thought they were either "good" or "excellent" at making sure their kids lived a healthy lifestyle.  But one-third of U.S. kids are overweight or obese.

 Which means a lot of parents are clueless when it comes to their kids' health.  Here's a list from "Time" magazine of the three main ways you might be sabotaging your children's health.  And yeah . . . it's the ones you're thinking of.

 #1.)  Letting Them Watch Too Much TV.  Almost half of the parents surveyed said they let their kids watch more than two hours of TV a day, and 74% of parents said they spent family time doing sedentary things . . . like watching more TV.

Paula Deen is no stranger to Internet memes: the Southern fried TV chef has been the butt of many a butter joke on the web. A new Deen-obsessed image blog called Paula Deen Riding Things is deliciously bizarre. The Photoshopped works feature a sunglasses-wearing, wine glass-toting Paula riding atop a variety of people, animals and objects, from "The Neverending Story" creature Falkor to one of the titular monsters from "Tremors."
