According to this study, 1 in 10 people drink at least five cups of coffee every day. That seems like a lot. The average coffee drinker spends $4,500 a year on coffee and 3 out of 5 say they drink coffee for the taste and not the caffeinated jump start.

I was at a friend of a friends' BBQ. I was enjoying good conversation and meeting some very nice people. We were all seated outside where the host was cooking.

That's when... IT happened.

An associate of mine was in town yesterday so I met him for lunch. When it came time to order dessert, I passed but he said that I “just had to try” the apple crisp with ice cream. Again, I declined. He went ahead and ordered and asked the waitress to bring two spoons.

Say wha? Sharing off of a plate with my wife is one thing but a co-worker? There was no way that was going to happen.
