It is corn maze season across the nation and here in Idaho we do some great corn mazes. Something we do better than corn mazes is parachuting from high places.
Every year my family and I look forward to going to the CSI Corn Maze. CSI's horticulture students work hard every year to make the CSI Corn Maze possible. The horticulture students were extremely disappointed when vandals tried to destroy the maze on Sunday afternoon.
The Horticulture Club at the College of Southern Idaho hosts a corn maze as a fund raiser. It's one the more food friendly mazes around with hamburgers, hot dogs, candy, hot chocolate and soda being sold at the admissions tent. And there are plenty of places you can sit by the fire to warm up while you eat.
This weekend on Friday and Saturday it's Breast Cancer Awareness Night! If you wear pink to the CSI Corn Maze your $3 entrance fee will go to St. Luke's '900 Women' program to provide free mammograms.
We love corn mazes this time of year. For me, there's truly nothing better than spending a few hours getting completely lost among the rows of corn with your friends and family.
This year, take a shot at a brand new maze: Hollyberry Nursery's 1st Annual Corn Maze!
This Saturday is the big Halloween Carnival for all the kids in the community from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the CSI Rec Center. Lots of games, prizes, activities, and treats. Bring the kids in costume. It’s free and open to everyone.
Everyone is invited to be part of the ‘Thriller’ flash mob this year. CSI Dance students are doing their annual Halloween reenactment of the famous Michael Jackson production and you’re invited to join them!
