I need a minute. I'm preparing myself to sound old. Here goes. Do you remember the days when you could get front row seats to almost any concert by camping out in line the night before tickets went on sale? Those days are gone. Now, it's nearly impossible to get great seats, without paying way above advertised prices. I found four reasons why.

After another year of outstanding auditions, the top 30 acts have been chosen to perform at the Top 30 Showcase. Magic Valley's Got Talent is a Lighthouse School fundraiser and this year, MVGT is offering $3000 in cash to the first place act, $1500 for second, $500 for third, $300 for fourth and $200 for fifth.

The Top 30 Showcase is on Friday, February 10th at 6:30pm at Lighthouse School.

Severe thunderstorms forced the Black Eyed Peas to cancel a free benefit concert in New York's Central Park Thursday night, angering tens of thousands of fans who waited hours in the rain to see them perform.

The concert, which was being held to benefit the Robin Hood Foundation, an anti-poverty organization, was initially delayed a number of times, before lightning led to a last-minute cancellation.

Country Star Josh Turner To Perform at "Givin' Meth the Boot"

The Idaho Meth Project today announced that country music star Josh Turner will be performing in Idaho Falls on Thursday, August 25, 2011, to raise money to support the Meth Project’s prevention campaign in Idaho.

Sponsored by Mountain View Hospital, Josh Turner’s concert will be the first large, outdoor amphitheater-style performance held at Melaleuca Field. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Idaho Meth Project.

She's really doing some amazing things following her stint on Survivor. If you have children, (especially girls) I highly recommend you take them to the presentation. Alexis has a lot to say and is all about giving our kids positive, smart role models they can look up to.
