500 Motorcycles Will Escort Buses to Camp Rainbow Gold

 

Camp Rainbow Gold was established 25 years ago by the American Cancer Society.  It's a week long celebration of life for nearly 85 cacer survivors that provides them an "escape from the rigors of thier illness."   The camp is free to these children and their families and is fully staffed by a medical team and a licensed social worker to make sure that the children are supported both emotionally and medically. 

Every year, a bunch of bikers with big hearts get together and rally around the busses and escort them to camp.  This year, around 500 bikers are expected to participate in the Motorcycle Escort to Camp Rainbow Gold.

Drinking Coffee Could Cause Cancer

If you've been holding your cell phone a foot from your ear ever since you heard that it's a "possible carcinogen," relax.  It just means cell phones MIGHT cause cancer.  Here are four things from  Healthline.com that people use every day that are even riskier.

#1.)  Coffee.  This makes me really sad, because I LOVE my coffee. Apparently, it's been shown to PREVENT some types of cancer:  A study last month said men who have six or more cups a day are 60% LESS likely to develop fatal prostate cancer.  But coffee's still classified as a PROBABLE carcinogen.
