Driving around Twin Falls lately feels like a scene straight out of Hitchcock's 'The Birds.' It seems we've moved on from moths and now we're under attack by swallows.

Yesterday my husband brought home 20 baby quail! I had no idea that he had ordered baby quail! At first I wasn't thrilled about having baby birds. No matter how cute they are... they're still baby birds that will poop, peck and stink.

This is another reason why I love technology so much.  How often to we get to witness, first-hand, a pelican learning to fly.  A crew in  Mahale in Tanzania rescued a pelican who was abandoned by its parents following a storm. The attached a  GoPro camera to its beak and documented its first successful attempt at flight...

The pitter-patter of crazy Koolaid the bird's feet makes while he runs after his ball in this video is probably the greatest sound ever. Sorry, Beethoven -- yer DONE!

Oh, Japan, you never disappoint.

Warning: our obsession with baby animals is unstoppable. Can you honestly blame us, though? We're already suckers for anything fuzzy and adorable, but when it comes in a tiny version, we're just sucked in automatically. Remember miniature puppies or itty bitty kittens? Our point exactly.

If you know anything about us here at TheFW, it's that we love any sort of furball, particularly those of the adorable variety. Tiny dogs, piglets in people clothes, you name it-- we're fans. There are also times when we sort of feel bad for our fellow animals. This is especially true when unfortunate haircuts are involved.

Rooster Teeth, an Austin-based gaming website, is well known for its hilariously re-interpreted live-action video shorts. One of its recent videos, an Angry Birds movie trailer spoof, has now taken the Internet and gaming world by feathery storm.
