I've been trying to grow a decent beard since I was 13. For guys, it's a rite of passage to cultivate that first, paper-thin mustache, or that scruffy 5 o'clock shadow that looks more like the big kids on the playground rubbed your face in the dirt. True fact: most guys like growing facial hair.

But a recent study shows that most women dislike it.

Gary Weddle is a science teacher at Ephrata Middle School in Ephrata, Washington. On September 11th, 2001, he vowed to his students that he would never shave his face again until OSAMA BIN LADEN was caught.

And he kept his vow. By last week, his beard was so insanely long he could've been MISTAKEN for bin Laden.
