You know, it's been a long and strange week. While we've tried to wrap our heads around the devastation of Hurricane Sandy, and even the $4.05 billion sale of 'Star Wars' to Disney with plans for a seventh installment, about the last thing we can wrap our heads around is a sequel series to a beloved '90s sitcom. And yet here we are, grasping the notion of a 'Boy Meets World' sequel series, titled cleverly enough, 'Girl Meets World.' So as long as the world's gone crazy, who from the cast might return?
'S.H.I.E.L.D.,' assemeble! While we still don't know how exactly Clark Gregg will return to reprise the role of Agent Phil Coulson in ABC and Joss Whedon's upcoming 'S.H.I.E.L.D.' TV series, we've at least got the first assuredly living casting. Former 'ER' doc Ming-Na will add a few new letters to her resume as one of the new agents to be featured in the 'S.H.I.E.L.D.' Part of the appeal of ABC's fairytale drama 'Once Upon A Time' lies in its inclusion of multiple fairytale characters, from Disney to Grimm, all in one story. May 5, 2011 With her exit at 'CBS Evening News' imminent, it looks like Katie Couric may be eyeing a position at rival network ABC.
Sources tell TMZ that Couric is considering a $20 million dollar deal with the network, with plans to launch a syndicated talk show in Sept. 2012. In addition to a talk show, Couric would reportedly do specials for ABC News, '20/20' and "a significant amount of fill-in work, including anchoring." (Somewhere, Diane Sawyer is freaking out.)
