TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KLIX) – The Twin Falls Police Department has planned two community-oriented presentations to explain to residents the department’s decision to use body cameras.

The presentation to explain the program and answer questions from the public will take place at 5:30 and 7 p.m. Thursday, June 30, in Room 117 of the Shields Building at the College of Southern Idaho.

The police department will start using the new chest-mounted cameras, which all on-duty officers will be required to wear, sometime in August. The department hosted a presentation to media on Tuesday.
