TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KLIX) – Several items will be presented at the Twin Falls City Council meeting this evening, including a public hearing on the city's comprehensive plan. 

Among the topics is a request for additional funding for road improvements, which would benefit Caswell at Washington Street North, Shoshone Street proper, and Washington Street North in the area of CSI and Canyon Ridge High School.

“This is an opportunity to address existing issues and needs,” reads information from the city.

Council members also will hear an update on the upcoming Falls Avenue mill and inlay and ADA ramp project, hear a presentation of the ICMA Program Excellence Award in recognition of SIEDO and, among other issues, an update on a city code as it relates to water conservation. View the full agenda.

A public hearing will begin no earlier than 6 p.m., in which the council will vote on whether to amend Twin Falls' Comprehensive Plan.

The council meets at 5 p.m. at the City Council Chambers, 305 3rd Ave. West.
