CALDWELL, Idaho (KTVB) - The suspect in the Oct. 16 robbery of a KeyBank in Caldwell was arrested Wednesday.

Caldwell police said Richard Macias, 42, of Caldwell was arrested without incident and booked into the Canyon County Jail on charges of robbery and burglary. Macias is believed to have left the state immediately after the robbery at the bank at 309 S. 9th Ave. Investigators contacted Macias by phone during the investigation. Police said he was cooperative and agreed to return to Idaho and turn himself in.

Macias told police that he would return to Idaho Tuesday or Wednesday, and officers had been watching his home near Georgia Avenue and Locust Street. Officers took Macias into custody shortly after noon after they saw him at his residence on Wednesday. Macias is being held on $100,000 bond.
