Benito Baeza[/caption]TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KLIX)- Subaru of America has given the Twin Falls Animal Shelter $5,265.00 to help with daily operations. Canyon Motors Subaru owner Lowell Lytle handed the check to shelter director Debbie Blackwood and Janice Degner board member for People for Pets Magic Valley Humane Society at his dealership in Twin Falls Tuesday morning.

Subaru lets customers choose a national charity or organization to donate $250 for every vehicle sold.This year they let customers choose local organizations to donate to.

The funds were collected in about 45 days as part of the "Share the Love" event. Blackwood said they were surprised at how much was donated and said it will be put to good use at the shelter.
