I've read some off the wall statistics before, but this one takes the cake - no food pun intended. There's a website that's claiming that Twin Falls is falling behind when it comes to fast food and bakery options. I know. Crazy, right?

Find The Home calculated how many fast food establishments we have in Twin Falls compared to the rest of Idaho. Here's what they found.

According to their study, Twin Falls has 3.75 fast food restaurants for every 10,000 people. That sounds like plenty to me. But, that's nothing compared to Lewiston and Rexburg. Lewiston has 4.66 and Rexburg has a colon-blocking 4.94.

The story for bakeries is the same story. According to Find The Home, Twin Falls has 2.2 for every 10,000 people. That's way behind Idaho Falls which has 3.6 and Coeur d'Alene with 3.7.

I'm not sure how the geniuses that come up with this stuff determine what's a "good" number for bakeries and fast food, but Twin Falls has never felt like it lacked these things to me. What say you?
