New things can be scary, but can also be exciting. The first day at a new school or a new job can be scary, but the potential to meet new people, learn new things, and grow can be exciting. Getting a new home or a new car can be exciting, but the costs can be terrifying. While many people don't like change, newness isn't all bad. One new thing that usually gets people excited is when a new restaurant opens, a new store to shop at, or a new business. Twin Falls has been growing over the last few years, and many new businesses have moved into town, and in 2024 more new ones are coming to be excited about.

Adding a gas station to most towns would be a welcomed addition, but this one has created a little controversy. Not because of the gas station or what kind it is, but based on location. The new Base Camp gas station will be located at Grandview and Falls, and the neighborhood nearby isn't pleased to have a gas station outside their windows. For those that don't live at the location though, Base Camp will make a nice addition to the area. For those unfamiliar with these stores, they will offer snacks, wine, gas and diesel, 91 non-ethanol fuel, and kickback loyalty rewards. The Twin Falls location will be the fourth Base Camp when it opens.

Coffee is a necessity to life for many, but the problem is that the lines can often be too long, or perhaps your favorite coffee shop is on the other side of town. For those that enjoy Starbucks, there are a few locations around town, but if you work at the hospital or on that side of town, unfortunately, there isn't one over there. That will change in 2024, as a new Starbucks is set to open on Pole Line in the old Arctic Circle building that closed last year. This will make many people happy and hopefully shorten the lines at some of the other locations.

One food that not enough places serve in Twin Falls is wings. There are many different ways to make them, and many different sauces, and Twin Falls needs more places that make and serve wings. In 2024 that wish will be granted, as Wing Stop is set to open sometime in the spring, and will be located on Cheney Drive next to Chipotle. The building is up, but construction inside continues. Anticipation will build over the next few months, but it will all be worth it when your face is stuffed full of wings later this year.

Will Runamuck open in 2024? There are questions on where things stand, but at last check, Runamuck is set to break ground shortly. For those unfamiliar, Runamuck is a family fun center that is set to come to Twin Falls and will offer a place for children and adults to have fun year-round. There will be laser tag, bowling, arcade, drinks, food, and much more. An update on Runamuck will be coming shortly, but hope is high that it could open by the end of the year. This is the only one on the list that isn't certain if it'll be 2024 or 2025.

As Twin Falls continues to grow, more and more stores will move in, and the excitement of what will be next will increase.

Places To Get Really High Around Twin Falls

Since marijuana is still illegal in Idaho, you can’t legally walk down the street and get high, but there's another way to get high around Twin Falls that is much more socially acceptable.
