Spinal Combo Breaks His Way Into Killer Instinct

The Southern California-based developers at Double Helix have recently announced the newest combatant to be joining the arenas of Killer Instinct. Everyone's favorite sword and shield wearing skeleton, Spinal, is going to be added to the roster by the end of January. Supreme Victory!

According to Eurogamer, those who bought the Ultra Edition of Killer Instinct will have access to Spinal before all other Killer Instinct players. As with the release of the previous characters, Spinal's addition also comes with 15 achievements that fighting game enthusiasts can unlock.

Combo enthusiasts at home can look forward to arcade mode and online lobbies being added to Killer Instinct this March. While No Mercies (KI's version of fatalities), are still nowhere in sight, Spinal rounds out the roster quite nicely.
