The earthquakes are getting a little too close for comfort. An earthquake just happened to the west/northwest of Soda Springs, Idaho.

According to the first reports from the USGS, this one registered 3.2 on the Richter scale. That's no mega-quake, but nothing to laugh at either.

This quake also appears to be a deep one, listed at around 6.2 km. That makes it less likely that anyone (even near the epicenter) would have felt this quake.

Thanks to where we live in the country, we keep our eyes on quakes in case these smaller quakes lead to something bigger.
