CALDWELL, Idaho (AP) — It's not just the usual suspects who are known for being slippery.

Then again, not all suspects are 6-foot boa constrictors. Police officers in southwest Idaho say they responded to a motorist on Thursday who spotted a large snake crawl under his vehicle and into the engine compartment while parked at a shopping center. Officer Taylor Farnsworth of the Caldwell Police Department says he removed the boa constrictor from the vehicle without harming it.

It's unknown why the snake was in the parking lot or how it got there. Police say they turned the snake over to a man willing to take care for it.
