BOISE, Idaho (AP) — A longtime Sun Valley Co. employee has filed a lawsuit against the company contending sexual harassment, age discrimination and corporate retaliation. Fifty-nine-year-old Ann Erickson filed the lawsuit in federal court last week in the wake of the company not renewing her seasonal employment in October 2012.

The lawsuit says Erickson worked for the company for 35 years and supervised the SnowSports School until an on-the-job skiing injury left her temporarily disabled. She was not medically cleared to return to the slopes until February 2013. She contends the company declined her request for modified duty.

She also contends that starting in 2008 she was the target of sexual harassment, was demoted and then fired after the injury. Sun Valley Co. declined to comment.
