Don’t Look at it. You’ll Go Blind (The Solar Eclipse in Twin Falls)

On May 20th Twin Falls will experience a partial solar eclipse. Sunday evening, starting at about 6:00pm, the moon will block nearly all of the sun leaving only a thin crescent visible. It should be spectacular!

We spoke with Chris Anderson, from CSI about some of the misconceptions regarding viewing safety.  Here are a few things we learned

No More FOX TV for Twin Falls, Idaho

Spencer’s Own – Twin Falls Concert & Live Performance on 957 KEZJ – [Audio]

One of our favorite bands stopped by the old stompin grounds.  Spencer's Own (formerly The Standards) are back in Twin Falls, Idaho doing some community work to raise awareness about bullying and they'll be performing Saturday night at the Roper.

If you have never been to a Spencer's Own concert, GO.  You will have a blast.  Their stage presence and chemistry are insane, not to mention the blended vocals you'll only get from a family band that has been performing together since they were kids.  This is a family show... bring the kids.

If you missed the interview on The Morning Show, you can listen to it right here.

Five (Almost) Free Things To Do in Twin Falls This Summer

Good news is that it looks like gas prices won't be quite as high as we first expected, this summer.

Even so, I'm not making any more money that I did last year so I'm watching my expenses just as close as the next guy.

Thanks to you - I found plenty to do, right here at home.  And the good news?  It's all free.  (Mostly)

At What Age Can You Leave a Child Unsupervised at the Mall?

My kids are getting older.  My daughter asked my wife and I if we would drop her off at the mall for an hour or so with her friends.  I immediately got a stomach cramp.

Were do you draw the line between over-protective parent and giving your child the opportunity to be responsible?

You Want Me to Eat That After You Had Your Hand in Your Butt?

Chalk this up to one of my more awkward moments.

I was at a friend of a friends' BBQ.  I was enjoying good conversation and meeting some very nice people.  We were all seated outside where the host was cooking.

That's when... IT happened.

No sooner had our host yelled "Burgers are done!" when he reached back with his right hand and pulled a wedgie out of his rear.

Twin Falls, Idaho – 20 Years in the Future

Last night, Twin Falls City officials invited the public to the the first of what I'm guessing will be the start of several meetings about what Twin Falls will be like in 2030.  The public was asked to talk about everything from parks, services, commerce, roads... If has to do with future life in Twin Falls, they want your ideas.
