As a child I loved going to the circus. I thought the elephants were amazing, the ladies were beautiful and clowns were funny. But not all kids love the circus.

There is group of kids in Hailey, Idaho that are protesting any circus that wants to come to town. The group is called, The Elephant Student Project.

According to kmvt.com, there are 10 students that make up The Elephant Student Project. They’ve been protesting the circus for over a year, since the Jordan World Circus first came to perform last summer.

The group is trying to pass ordinances, banning traveling animal circuses all together.

Other states, like California, have bill's moving through legislature to ban using bullhooks to guide and discipline elephants.
