In Memory Of Our Brother:

It is with profound sadness that Lincoln County Sheriff Kevin Ellis and I notify our community that Chief Deputy Jim Gay passed away at his home late Saturday night.Jim was a wonderful father, grandfather, friend, neighbor and law enforcement officer. He was always there when you needed him and could be counted on any hour, any day. He was dedicated to his family, faith and community.He will always be in our hearts and minds. Please keep his family, friends and coworkers in your thoughts and prayers during this sorrowful time. When funeral services are made available, we will post them, so our community can honor his memory.

Visitation for family and friends will be held from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm, Friday, October 23, 2015 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Shoshone. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday, October 24, 2015 at the Old High School Gymnasium in Shoshone. Burial will follow at the Shoshone Cemetery.
