Shoshone, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KSVT-TV ) No one is injured after the roof of an old Shoshone house collapsed Sunday afternoon. According to Shoshone Police Chief Marshall Emerson, the incident happened at a home dating back to the late 1800’s. Located on the north side of the city, the structure sits at the corner of North Greenwood and North Rail East.  The occupant of the house fortunately wasn't home at the time, but his dog was rescued by emergency personnel. Some cats are unaccounted for, but it’s believed they ran away from the commotion. The house is slated for demolition this spring and police don’t suspect foul play. The Red Cross is helping the resident, while the dog is being taken care of by the Shoshone Veterinary Clinic.
