UPDATE, 3:55 p.m. Friday: Ashley Webb, 23, who was injured in the crash Tuesday near Filer has died, according to the Twin Falls Sheriff's Office. After the accident, she was taken to St. Alphonsus Medical Center in Boise to be treated for her injuries.

The sheriff's office is continuing to investigate the crash.

FILER, Idaho (KLIX) – The Twin Falls County Sheriff’s Office has provided additional information about the accident that happened Tuesday near Filer.

Sean Rees, 22, of Taylorsville, Utah, was driving a 1999 Mustang northbound on 2500 East when he failed to stop at a stop sign. He hit a westbound Ford F350 driven by Lydia Buffington, 38, of Filer.

Buffington’s truck then went through a fence, struck a tree, and ended up hitting a garage wall, according to the sheriff's office. She was transported  by personal vehicle to St. Luke’s Magic Valley Regional Medical Center.

Rees also was transported to St. Luke’s Magic Valley by ground ambulance. But his passenger, 23-year-old Ashley M. Webb, 23, of Filer and currently residing in Taylorsville, was transported by air ambulance to Boise with serious injuries.

The sheriff's office is continuing to investigate the crash.
