33 year old Army Sergeant Chris Workman will be laid to rest in his home town of Rupert today.  A public funeral for Workman was held yesterday in Eagle.  Workman and three other soldiers died when their helicopter crashed on a humanitarian mission in Afghanistan in April.  Workman was a Minico High School graduate.  Minidoka schools will be dismissed today at 1 p.m. so students can support the Workman family.  A motorcade carrying Workman’s remains is expected to arrive at the Rupert Square between 1:30-2:30 p.m. today.  Governor Butch Otter has ordered all flags flown at state facilities be lowered to half- mast until sundown tonight in honor of Workman.
