Semi-Truck Hits Power Pole Near Murtaugh

Murtaugh, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KTWT-TV ) - Highway 30 near Murtaugh is completely blocked at this time due to a Semi-Truck accident. At about 9:24 am this morning a truck struck a power pole. KMVT reports the accident at 23085 Highway 30 near Murtaugh has authorities re-routing a long line of vehicles. The power pole is being replaced at this time by Idaho Power crews.

The crash didn’t cause the power lines to break so, Idaho Power officials say only a couple of customers are being affected. At this time it’s not known what caused the truck driver to lose control but according to dispatch the truck jackknifed completely blocking the roadway. No injuries have been reported.
