Semi Pileup Slows Traffic on I-84

JEROME, Id. (KMVT/KSVT) Two semi trucks and a tow truck were involved in a pileup on Interstate 84 near milepost 183 in the eastbound lane.

The collision happened just before 3 pm Thursday afternoon. Early reports indicate that one of the semi trucks struck another that had pulled off the road. Reports from the scene say one of the trucks was hauling onions. A tow truck traveling near the collision was also involved in the pileup.

Idaho State Police say traffic is moving very slow in the eastbound lanes of I-84 near the collision and report that part of the wreckage extended to the fast lane of westbound I-84.

So far only minor injuries have been reported. We will have the latest as it becomes available.
