BURLEY, Idaho (KLIX) – A semi tractor-trailer overturned on Interstate 86 this morning, blocking westbound traffic for about two hours. 

The incident happened at around 6 a.m. near mile post 16 in Cassia County.

Justin Selander, 37, of Nampa was driving eastbound on I-86 in an International semi hauling one trailer when he started to slide, according to Idaho State Police. In his attempt to stop the sliding trailer, Selander overturned the vehicle.

The semi slid through the median and came to rest in the westbound lanes of traffic.  Selander was wearing a seat belt.
