SHOSHONE, Idaho (KLIX) A semi truck rolled onto its side just east of Shoshone blocking traffic for three hours and sent the driver to the hospital late Wednesday.

According to Idaho State Police the crash happened on US 26 at about 11:33 p.m. at mile marker 172. Police say Kenneth Hunter, 28, of Jerome, was driving west in a International semi pulling two tanker trailers when he drove off the right shoulder. The truck rolled onto its side. Hunter was wearing his seat belt, but had to be taken to a Gooding hospital. The lanes were blocked for three and half hours.
