TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KLIX)- The Bureau of Land Management has started seasonal road closures in the South Hills. The closures go from January 16th to March 15th. The following roads and trails associated with them are closed to motorized travel: Dry Creek, Cherry Spring, Indian Springs, and North Cottonwood Creek. BLM closes these roads to prevent resource damage and protect crucial mule deer winter range and sage grouse habitat. Gates are in place warning people of the closures. The areas are still open to the public with non-motorized modes of transportation.
