BOISE, Idaho (AP) — Idahoans planning to attend a state public university now have an easier way to weigh their campus options. The U.S. Department of Education has posted an interactive online "college scorecard" that gives tuition rates and other information students can use to compare institutions.

Among the state's three public universities, the University of Idaho ranked relatively well in categories of affordability and six-year graduation rates. Boise State University and Idaho State University came in more affordable than University of Idaho, which costs $13,253 each year. But the six-year matriculation rates at BSU and ISU ranked lower.

Brigham Young University-Idaho, in Rexburg, ranked better in affordability and graduation rates than all three public institutions. BYU-Idaho costs $9,180 annually and graduates 52.5 percent of its students within six years.
