Savannah Berry's Taste of Country cover video this week is a song originally sung by a friend of hers. Berry tries her hand at fellow 'The Voice' contestant RaeLynn's 'God Made Girls,' putting her own spin on the sweet anthem about how special ladies truly are.

In fact, RaeLynn is actually the one who pushed Berry to audition for the reality singing competition! In return, Berry is extremely proud of her friend for all that she's accomplished so far with 'God Made Girls.'

"I was so happy for RaeLynn when I first heard her new song 'God Made Girls,'" Berry explains. "Anyone who knows Rae knows how perfectly this song fits her personality. We first met about a year and a half ago and she was actually the person who really encouraged me to audition for 'The Voice.'"

She adds, "I love this song. I think it's going to be a big hit for her. I hope she likes my cover."

We can't imagine she wouldn't. Berry's voice is a big contrast to RaeLynn's, so she truly makes it her own. She performs it very stripped down, delivering an acoustic cover with just two instruments to accompany her.

Each week Berry is covering one of her favorite songs just for Taste of Country readers. It’s an extension of her popular YouTube channel. Find her on Facebook and Twitter, and be sure to subscribe to ToC after you watch the cover!
