Rupert Police Looking for Pharmacy Robbery Suspect

Rupert, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KSVT-TV ) - Police are searching for a suspect in an armed pharmacy robbery that took place Saturday night in Rupert.

At 7:00 p.m. city of Rupert police officers responded to Ridley’s Family Market at 310 Oneida Street. According to witnesses, a white male presented a pharmacist with a note demanding prescription drugs. He then exited the store and fled the scene with pills. In a statement from police, the male is described as 20-30 years old and was wearing a camo jacket and tan pants at the time of the incident.

Witnesses say the man is between 5’8” and 5’10” with a black mustache and goatee. Rupert police, the Minidoka County Sheriff’s office, and Idaho State Police are working together to review evidence. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Rupert Police Department at 208-434-2330.
