MOSCOW, Idaho (AP) — New Idaho football coach Paul Petrino signed 20 players to letters of intent in his first recruiting class with the Vandals. The players who signed Wednesday included the son of former Idaho coach Tom Cable and the son of former Idaho quarterback Scott Linehan. Zach Cable is a defensive lineman from Renton, Wash., while Matt Linehan is a quarterback from Orchard Lake, Mich. The class was heavy with recruits from Washington and California, with a few players from Florida and Utah Two players from Idaho signed. They are offensive linemen Nick Edenfield from Nampa and Brett Thompson from Rupert.
