RUPERT, Idaho (AP) — A Rupert man faces two felony arson charges for a fire that destroyed a rental house where he had been living.

The Times-News reports  a Minidoka County judge held a preliminary hearing on Wednesday and found here was enough evidence to send the case against 39-year-old Calvin Lamont Bernard to trial.

Prosecutors say firefighters searching the house after the Oct. 18 fire found a small propane tank in the microwave and another propane tank on the floor not far from the stove with all the dials turned out. Fireworks were found in the bathroom. No one was at the house at the time of the fire. An arraignment date has not been set.
