Rose Colors and What They Mean

Band X Pictures

Before you buy roses for your wife or girlfriend, you might want to double check the message you’re sending.

The color of a rose and sometimes how many roses you send can indicate a specific mention you want to say.  Here they are in no particular order:

  • Red – Love & Romance
  • Pink – Grace and elegance.  Often given to express admiration and joy.
  • Yellow – Warmth and happiness.  These are often given to someone you consider a true friend.
  • White – Innocence, purity or remembrance.
  • Orage – Desire
  • Lavender – Love at first sight.

In the end, I don’t know that the connection between rose color and meaning really matters.  In the end, get her the color she likes.
