Rupert, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KTWT-TV ) -

The Idaho State police has identified the victim from the crash. Authorities say Darwin R. Davis, 66 of Rupert was eastbound on State Highway 24 just past the intersection of Sate Highway 25 when his vehicle veered left into the westbound lanes. The pickup struck a curb, continuing on through a chain link fence. Davis's vehicle struck agriculture equipment on a private lot and came to a rest on its right side. Davis was transported to the Minidoka Memorial hospital where he was pronounced dead.  The two westbound lanes of State Highway 24 were blocked till about 12:30 pm.
