Robert and Amy Starr never wanted an ice truck. Robert had never had shaved ice before. But, now, they work with school districts and organizations around the Magic Valley with a portion of the proceeds going back to the groups they're helping.

we specifically seek out the school districts, non-profit entities, churches, youth groups, Bible camps, anything that would be a non-profit where we can at the end of the event give back a percentage of our sales, which is typically 20%

Robert told us, "As far as the fundraising aspect of things, we specifically seek out the school districts, non-profit entities, churches, youth groups, Bible camps, anything that would be a non-profit where we can at the end of the event give back a percentage of our sales, which is typically 20%".

You will see Robert and Amy and their ice truck at a number of upcoming events including Buhl football games, Kimberly Elementary and the Perrine Bridge Festival among others. When you see them, stop by and say hello and know that your cold treat will also be helping whoever invited them out.
