JEROME, Idaho (KLIX) – Idaho State Police responded to a two-vehicle injury crash Wednesday night near Richfield. 

At a little past 9:30 p.m., ISP was called to 1000 East 720 North, where a Harley motorcycle driven by 55-year-old Jason Jasso of Richfield hit the back of a Case tractor, driven by 46-year-old Teodosio Salazar Ucharima of Peru.

Jasso was ejected from the motorcycle, fell onto the implement and then onto the road. Ucharima heard and felt the crash, according to the news release, stopped and saw the motorcycle, and then drove about 100 yards west to notify authorities.

Jasso, who was not wearing a helmet, was flown by air ambulance to Saint Alphonsus Medical Center in Boise. This crash is still under investigation.
