Randy Houser has landed his fourth No. 1 song with "We Went," the lead single from his brand-new album, Fired Up.

“This is just so cool to have our fourth No. 1 the same week that our album is coming out,” Houser says in a press release. “It’s always humbling when you have a song that really connects like that, and I’m really looking forward to getting our new music out there and playing it live on the road this summer.”

According to the singer, "We Went" is "so different for me," which is exactly why it made the perfect first single.

"The song is about hanging out, a little bit of danger, running from the cops — all things I grew up doing," Houser explains. "Well, maybe avoiding the cops is more accurate.”

In addition to the new No. 1, Fired Up includes 16 other tracks. The project was produced by Derek George, who also produced Houser's 2013 album, How Country Feels.

“I’m very excited to finally get some new music out there,” Houser notes. “Three years is a bit longer than I expected in between How Country Feelsand this record, and so much has happened in that time."

Fired Up is available for download via iTunes.
